About the Song
《Mr. Simple》 is SUPER JUNIOR’s fifth studio album, released in August 2011 after more than a year of group hiatus. Throughout July, the group built strong anticipation with a series of teaser photos and a video preview that introduced a bolder, more masculine concept. The title track reflects the stress and pressure of modern life, portraying the pursuit of success, love, and dreams with a playful yet satirical tone. The album was released online on August 2 and physically on August 3, drawing global attention as fans from 59 countries launched the widely covered “Return of the King” campaign. Following the release, SUPER JUNIOR held their official comeback press conference on August 4 and included “SUPERMAN”, originally performed on broadcast stages, in the Version B album.
