With Heechul returning from military service in 2013 and Leeteuk rejoining in 2014, the project features ten active members, excluding Yesung, who was still serving as a public service worker. The title track blends Indian-inspired percussion, bold drum patterns, and piano lines reminiscent of DJ remixes, creating a modern urban new jack swing sound. Its lyrics encourage empathy and understanding toward the struggles people face, adding emotional depth beneath its vibrant production. Ahead of release, built anticipation through SMTOWN Live, member-specific photo teasers, and video previews. The music video premiered before the album’s digital launch on August 29, followed by the group’s first comeback stages on Music Bank. After three weeks of promotions, they kicked off their sixth world tour, SUPER SHOW 6.

Neoneun wae jigeum ibeul makgo inna
why are you covering your mouth right now?
Heulleoganeun sunridaero ttareugiro haenna

something collapsed and left
Nunmulmajeo da memallasseo
even my tears have all dried up
Gamtureul sseun ja mugereul neukkyeo!
those who wear the crown, feel the weight!
you can’t do that!
Nuga meonjeo sijakaetdeon maldeon
whether someone started it first or not
Ije geuman jom kkeunnaebogo sipeo
i just want to end it now
Seoro jageukhaneun mal, mal, mal
words, words, words that provoke each other
Mokjeok eomneun jeonjaeng gata
it’s like a purposeless war
Dangjang nunape ideukman bogo
just looking at the profit right in front of your eyes
Nari seon ippareul garyeodo bogo
even trying to hide your sharp teeth
Jeongmal jungyohan geol ijeonneunde tto mutgo
forgetting what’s really important but asking again
so dumb

Gamtureul sseun ja mugereul neukkyeo!
those who wear the crown, feel the weight!

Doraseoseo dareun gillo gillo
turn around and go another way, way
Dachin neoreul wihae wiro wiro
comfort, comfort for the injured you
Geu jarie matge allo allo
fitting for that spot, allo allo
you ain’t got no chance
Nochijima hanbeon tteonamyeon jabeul su eopseo
don’t miss it, once it leaves, you can’t catch it

Nan gap junge gap, neon marya eul junge eul
i’m the boss of bosses, you are the bottom of bottoms
I pawo-geimeseo millyeo beorin jaga
the one who got pushed out of this power game
Neo hanappunigennya?
do you think it’s only you?
just close your lips
shut your tongue
Na honja dareun kkumeul kkumyeon jeoldae andwae
i absolutely cannot dream a different dream alone
Jigeum nega piryohae.
i need you right now.
Nega piryohae nega piryohae
i need you, i need you
Jeongdo manko useumdo manko
having lots of affection and lots of laughter
Joahaneun saramdeulgwa saragago
living with the people i like
Gakkeumssigeun dwireul dora bwasseul ttae
sometimes when i look back
Neomu jalhaewatguna saenggakdeul ttae
when i think i’ve done so well
Nado itgo urido itgo
there’s me and there’s us
Gidaehae bolmanhan geureon mirae itgo
there’s a future worth looking forward to
Eonjerado urin dasi hanbeon deo
because anytime, we will once again
Himeul naege doeteni!
gather our strength!
Hey! MAMACITA! Naega
hey! mamacita! i

the dream that was cruelly broken
