“THE FIFTH SEASON” is OH MY GIRL’s first full-length studio album, released on May 8, 2019 through Kakao M. Arriving eight months after Remember Me, the album was issued in two versions — Drawing and Photography — and highlights the group’s signature lyrical and visual elegance.
The title track “The Fifth Season (SSFWL)” compares falling in love to the arrival of a mysterious “fifth season,” blending emotional vocals with a fairytale-like concept. The track later earned OH MY GIRL their first-ever win on M Countdown, after the show corrected a scoring error that had initially misranked them.
Teasers for the comeback followed a refined art-gallery motif — oil-painting concept photos, museum-style schedules, motion teasers, and ballet-inspired photoshoots. Track previews, lyric reveals, and MV teasers rolled out in early May, steadily building anticipation for the release.
