About the Song
《Dorothy》 reimagines a classic tale through the lens of modern romance, using the journey home as a metaphor for finding where you truly belong. Released in 2015 as part of SUPER JUNIOR‘s special album MAGIC under SM Entertainment, the track blends fantasy and longing, capturing that restless search for a place—or a person—that feels like home. It’s whimsical, it’s earnest, and it plays with the idea that sometimes the magic you’re looking for has been right in front of you all along. 《Dorothy》 shows SUPER JUNIOR can take a familiar story and make it feel fresh, turning nostalgia into something both comforting and hopeful.

The song uses the Wizard of Oz motif to describe a heart waiting for a lover who has wandered off into a Strange Journey. It expresses the anxiety of losing them to a whirlwind of emotions while promising that the narrator’s heart remains a Steadfast Home, pleading for them to return before their Precious Memories become stained by sorrow.
