GET UP
i don't wanna FIGHT YOUR SHADOW
meet me back in 5 if i matter to you
like you say, i do
SO, GET UP
i don't wanna FIGHT YOUR SHADOW
meet me back in 5 if i matter to you
like you say, i do
🎵 Song Meaning & Interpretation

A brief but resonant track, “Get Up” distills the tension of emotional distance into a minimal, repeating plea. The lyrics capture a moment where someone asks to be met halfway—literally and emotionally—seeking proof that they matter as much as they’ve been told. Its simplicity highlights the vulnerability beneath the request.
