“Me Gustas Tu” is the title track of GFRIEND’s second mini album Flower Bud, released on July 23, 2015. The Spanish phrase Me gustas tú means “I like you.” The song went viral in September 2015 when a fan-recorded video of GFRIEND repeatedly slipping during a live outdoor performance spread across global media outlets like TIME and the Daily Mail, reaching over a million views in a single day. Following the incident, the track began climbing back up the Korean music charts and stayed there for more than six months. In 2016, it surpassed 87 million streams—breaking the previous girl-group record held by EXID’s “Up & Down”—and later became the first girl-group song to exceed 100 million accumulated streams in Korea.
